REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, merchandising, or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Passion for consumer products, fashion, or the retail industry
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with Amazon merchandising gives you points

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape. Conduct regular competitive analysis to benchmark product features, pricing, and positioning in the market
  • Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to optimize product assortment and identify opportunities
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through rates, margin analysis, and inventory turnover to assess product performance and inform decision-making. Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies based on competitive analysis and cost considerations.
  • Generate reports and presentations summarizing product performance, market trends, and actionable insights
  • Identify white space opportunities through market gap analysis and competitor research, presenting findings to inform product development strategies.
  • Conduct trend research and analysis to identify emerging themes, styles, and consumer preferences in the market
