Product Development CAD Technologist

The Product Development works closely with the Product Design and Product Engineering teams and will be responsible for creating detailed, clear, concise, and accurate technical drawings, schematics, installation manuals, assembly details, and modeling of play structures. This position will also involve travel for on-site product and ride verification.

EDUCATION:

• Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology or foreign equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of previous experience as a CAD / mechanical designer role, preferably in the field of product development or amusement park ride design
• CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) with the ability to create complex 3D models and accurate technical drawings. SolidWorks is preferred.
• Prior experience conducting Change Notices and operating in a Product Data Management (PDM) environment.
