POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support the development of new products from the idea stage through to the final stage. This role involves collaboration with our art, sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams to deliver products that meet the company’s standards and align with the company’s strategic objectives.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage and coordinate product development projects from initial concept to final launch.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, customer needs, and incorporate these insights into product development.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Continuously explore new ideas, technologies, and processes to drive innovation and improve product offerings.
  • Define product specifications, including materials, dimensions, functionality, and target market.
  • Maintain detailed records of all product development activities, including design files, production schedules, and testing results.
  • Gather customer feedback and analyze market performance to inform future product development decisions.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Design, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in product development, project management, or a related role. 
  • Experience with market research and analysis.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Experience using project management tools to track progress and deadlines. 
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer feedback, and product performance metrics to inform decision-making.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify challenges and propose effective solutions. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis tools.  
  • Basic knowledge of product design tools is a plus.
