About The Role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Product Management to join our Product Management Team in Norway, Sweden or Finland. Our current Head of Product Management is taking on a new internal role and we’re looking for a seasoned product management professional to step in! Take a key role in driving success for our energy market solutions by defining and setting the product strategy, vision and roadmap for Hansen’s CIS product for the Nordic region. You work together with the talented product management team and enthusiastic engineering departments. You frequently collaborate with our customers, discussing the future of the energy market, Hansen’s vision, product roadmap and their needs. About You
You are a highly enthusiastic individual with proven experience working in the Nordic energy market as well as:
- Executive presence – you build lasting relationships with customers on multiple levels.
- You are fluent in English and Norwegian or Swedish.
- You make (and facilitate) decisions to ensure progress and clarity as well as managing change.
- You lead a geographically distributed team, effectively achieving results through collaboration with other people. You know how to grow the team and build their skills.
- Experienced in enterprise product ownership and promotion from a vendor perspective. You are confident to take the stage and present solutions and Hansen as a company on various occasions.
- Your experience with the agile framework and scrum practices lets you collaborate with the R&D and DevOps teams to improve the Software-as-a-Service offering through judicious use of cloud-native technologies and practices.
- Strong commercial acumen. Experience in budgeting, cost follow-up, making business cases and running business programs.
- Structured and able to manage multiple tasks, timelines, backlogs, communication plans, and deliverables.
- Very proactive in being ahead of the curve, leading our customers, and supporting our delivery teams in doing the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, refine and improve the strategic vision for our product.
- You will define and manage the roadmap and release strategy, ensuring successful adoption of the product.
- You actively engage with our customers and research relevant industry trends and competitive intelligence to align our product roadmap with their needs.
- You work with internal and external stakeholders, including Hansen’s Chief Product Officer, Sales and Account Executives, and Professional Services teams to ensure our offering is competitive in the market and delivers great value to our customers.
- You participate in budgeting and setting the targets for the upcoming fiscals. This includes the investment budget and planning the return. The work is done in cooperation with our account management.
- Lead a distributed Product Management team located in multiple countries in the Nordic market.
- Coordinate the ideation, development and approval of business cases for R&D initiatives.
- You are a confident and outspoken advocate for the product and value customer and industry interaction at company events and industry forums.
- Work with Professional Services teams to ensure the roadmap facilitates their work and that value and knowledge are captured back into the core product.
- You maintain a well prioritized backlog of work that reflects all these inputs.
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting of approved R&D programs to key R&D stakeholders.
- Assist in bid management and contribute to pre-sales activities with new logos and major client opportunities when assigned.
- Interface with our marketing department to supply subject matter expertise in industry events and marketing plans to ensure product visibility.
