Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • higher technical education in the field of mechanical engineering; CAD Designer, Design engineer, plastics engineering,
  • work experience in injection molding and pre-forming technology, CAD System CATIA V5 or Unigraphics,
  • experience in engineering of plastic parts, and project management skills; preferred experience in the automotive industry,
  • professional knowledge and skills in the development of plastic parts,
  • fluent English; German is nice to have,
  • advanced MS Office skills,
  • high level of commitment and communication skills,
  • driving licence cat. B,
  • readiness for business traveling.

Responsibilities:

  • analyzing part failures - form, fit, and function - and defining actions to solve problems during implementation and series production,
  • supporting the production line with all design and process development issues,
  • assisting the development team during the industrialization of new products,
  • realizing specific product requirements of the company to achieve the required quality,
  • acting as the contact person for the development team in Germany and maintaining close collaboration with technical department members,
  • analyzing assembly issues on the production line and defining internal and supplier actions to optimize parts for fit and function,
  • supporting and defining SC (significant) and CC (critical) characteristics from a production perspective,
  • preparing parts for assembly trials, ensuring the correct content and revision history, supervising production changes, and recording them in the product biography,
  • supporting change management and communicating engineering and design requirements within the development team,
  • supporting supplier management (changes and optimization of purchased parts),
  • performing additional duties as defined by upper management.
