QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES
- BS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the related product category.
- Experience in exercising professional technical judgment in evaluating new products, computer hardware, and software.
- Experience in supporting computer hardware, software, and OS (Windows) to troubleshoot issues quickly.
- Experience presenting technical material.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Being able to explain the same information in non-technical terms.
- Excellence in both written and oral communication skills..
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for i-PRO Security Engineering, Service, Sales, and End Users and supports proof of concepts, demos, and pilots.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, test, and provide solutions for customer requests and issues related to hardware and software used with i-PRO Solutions. (FacePro, Vehicle Search, Transit, and future solutions)
- Serve as a final escalation point to support, field service, and third parties for resolving customer issues and requests when escalated to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in pre-sales meetings with on-site (potentially 25%) technical assistance across verticals as required.
- Provide monthly training on new Security Solutions to raise the technical knowledge level of all Sales Engineers.
- Support sales with solution design to meet customer requirements and resolve issues through fact-based analysis.
- Perform compatibility tests of engineering samples at stages of development to meet i-PRO customer standards.
- Inspect engineering samples and mass production to ensure products meet i-PRO standards.
- Provide Integration training for new products and options.
- Provide QA training for new products and options.
- Support team members in completing tasks in a timely, accurate manner.
- Support i-PRO Engineering team cross-product and i-PRO cross-product line Engineering team support.
- Provide detailed technical information internally (i-PRO technical field team and i-PRO Sales Engineering team) and externally to 3rd party and component manufacturers.
