Responsibilities:

  • Lead consumer-product interactions, uncovering deep insights into the needs, aspirations, and feelings of our consumers.
  • Explore target sensory aspects plus semiotic, and haptic attributes to craft insight that can be translated into innovation propositions that deliver Advantage winning propositions.
  • Adopt an iterative learning approach through applied design thinking principals.
  • Architect and catalyze the co creation of future proof benefit platforms that drive science innovation investment in the right places
  • Translate and bring to life research insight learning into meaningful product stories through 2D or 3D concepts such as demo’s or visualization and creative science writing that engages the consumer and internal stakeholders with impact.
  • Able to converse and translate this data to the brand and product design team to enable scale up of the product experience innovation.
  • Architect new research techniques, enhance capabilities through suppliers, and/or behavioural measurement tools, quantitative and qualitative evaluations, consumer co-creation sessions, to develop deeper consumer and product insights.
  • Co create and maintain a Product Research Partnership strategy.
  • As a PX FEI HUB member, co managing an agency roster to identify and through Partnership Excellence ensure best-in-class capability on understanding human behaviour, human factor research and translation into dynamic product visualization
  • Coach others within the R&D community to enable upskilling to realize the benefits of consumer closeness, applied design thinking and creative mindset.
  • Demonstrate creative mindset capability through agile approaches applying different approaches for GO FAST, GO DEEP output learning needs.
  • Digital savviness to enhance efficiency brought to life through competent use of AI and digital platforms.
  • Direct consumer engagement activities in accordance with the policies, procedures, ethics and protocols required by Bayer, Health Authorities and other relevant regulatory agencies.
