Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- MSc in chemical engineering or equivalent academic credentials.
- 5 + years of practical experience in developing and formulating cosmetic products. Experiences from Household, Industrial and Institutional Cleaning (HI&I) products as well as experience from food, nutrition, supplementary products can also be relevant.
- Previous involvement in the development and maintenance of class 1 medical device products is advantageous.
- Demonstrate documented experience in formulating various ingredients, emphasizing product development, verification/validation, testing, or related areas.
- Showcase familiarity with product documentation, including technical files/PIF, and possess knowledge of regulations governing cosmetic products.
- Exhibit proficiency in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be part of our product development team managing a blend of unique developed and traded products. In addition to hygiene and cosmetic products, our portfolio also includes a few class 1 medical devices.
As our Cosmetic Product Expert, you’ll be the go-to expert, providing comprehensive support to both our internal teams and external partners. Your key responsibilities involve driving the development of new products and ensuring the continued excellence of our existing range in collaboration with our suppliers.
In this role, you’ll spearhead communication with our suppliers, as all product development and modifications occur in partnership with them. While we don’t have our own lab, your expertise will be instrumental in guiding these processes. Together, we’ll ideate improvements, and you will be responsible for seamlessly navigating and implementing any regulatory changes that arise.
Collaborating across departments and with suppliers, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our cosmetic products meet stringent regulatory standards and align with TePe’s commitment to sustainability and quality. Your deep product knowledge will also support functions like quality assurance, marketing, and sales, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation throughout the organization.
The position is based at our HQ in Malmö, Sweden and reports to the Manager Product Development & Project Management. Minor travelling is involved.
TASKS
- Collaborate with the Category Manager to identify gaps and needs in our product lineup, offering insights and suggestions for future products.
- Propose and assess enhancements for existing products and take the lead in implementing these improvements.
- Coordinate testing procedures with suppliers to ensure the highest quality across all aspects of our products, including packaging.
- Oversee technical documentation such as Technical Files/Product Information Files (TF/PIF) and validate them to guarantee completeness.
- Contribute to the development of testing methodologies to maintain product excellence.
