Job Description
The Product Expert Sales - Software and IT (Focus: Warehouse Control System (WCS, Movu ops), Traffic Control (Movu tower), and IT) enables the realization of the set commercial targets as part of the sales organization. He/she supports the Sales team to sell competitive solutions with the focus on material flow and business processes that are reflected in Software of Movu and IT structure of the customer. He/she is the central escalation point for the global Sales Engineering teams as expert, answers product questions, presents software and IT related solutions to important customers and assists in the closing of their tenders.
Moreover, he/she develops materials and tools in support of sales, trains internal and external stakeholders, and consults the Product Management, internal IT as well as Project Execution. He/she is supporting the Product Manager in developing the market, analyzing the competitive field, and provide input for the development roadmap.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the internal product teams like Product Management, Project Engineering, R&D and internal IT to get visibility and understanding of the product roadmap, provide feedback for future releases, time to market, positioning, etc.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in core/complex material handling concepts (WMS, WCS and Traffic Control), IT (Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Network) and provide functional guidance to the sales engineering teams as needed
- Present and discuss solutions to prospect customers
- support in closing strategic tenders
- train integrators and business partners
- develop Sales tools and support the Product Management to develop product material
- conduct market & competitor analysis for better value design
- support the product manager to formulate future product desires and business potential as input to product roadmaps
- train Sales Engineering and Sales with support of Product Management to ensure competence build-up
- validate the technical design of complex tenders, and mediate with Project Execution and R&D if deviations are required

- Ensure that processes are the same in all regions regardless of the used technology
- Creates and maintains complex business process and system diagrams describing the architecture and functional flow for software systems.
- Participating in and/or supervising design review
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master degree in a related technical field or a related field
- Experience in a intralogistic environment is a nice to have
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent knowledge of English and Dutch, other languages are a plus
