Description:
Your challenges
- You develop the digital portfolio and new product strategy of the Business Unit (BU) Automation in collaboration with the Innovation Management Team and report to the Head of BU Automation.
- You carry the business responsibility for the product and solution portfolio as well as the introduction of new business models, such as Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Pay-per-Use models.
- You develop, prioritize, and successfully implement the innovation funnel and the portfolio roadmap in the context of our hardware, consumables, and service package solutions.
- You are responsible for developing the product vision, user requirements, and business model for new developments as well as for the timely implementation of agile development projects.
- You plan and coordinate the successful market launch and revenue of new products in close collaboration with the product management team.
Your expertise
- You have a completed degree in natural sciences, software/computer science, or economics and ideally have knowledge in business administration.
- You want to accomplish your ideas and can demonstrate experience as a Product Manager/Innovation Manager in product launches, go-to-market strategies for SaaS, PaaS business models, and in building necessary support structures.
- You have professional experience in business and innovation management as well as in application support, ideally in an international life science environment.
- You possess a good overview of the competition, service products & business models, and customer segments, and also have extensive management experience in leading project teams.
- You impress with your agile mindset, the ability to think in Minimal Viable (Saleable) Products, and your strong customer orientation.
- You stand out with your excellent presentation and communication skills both internally and externally, and you demonstrate good business acumen paired with an understanding of financial metrics.
- You see yourself as a team player with leadership skills, strong networking competencies, and cultural sensitivity.
- You have fluent German and English skills in both spoken and written form.
