Description:

We are seeking a progressive Product Leader to define the product strategy and lead an awesome group of product managers to deliver next level personalized experiences and communications to all our customers and LEGO Insider members
We have a big ambition to step change our relationship with our consumers – creating direct relationships that are relevant, engaging and rewarding, and therefore fostering lifelong consumer value and loyalty for the LEGO Group. We operate in 43 markets, so this is a challenging role to design products that offer personalized experiences at scale.
The specific focus of this role is to create and lead the product strategy for the personalization product group – a collection of products that will power personalized experiences and communications across our touchpoints, dynamically matching content, products and communications to our customers and LEGO Insider members worldwide. You will have direct line management responsibilities for a small number of product managers, and you will need to work closely with Product and Engineering Leaders (and their teams) across the organization to deliver against your strategy.

EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable experience as a Product Leader where you have directly implemented personalization and / or data product solutions, that have enhanced the end user experience and driven top line growth.
  • Proven track record in building and leading successful product teams, inspiring and empowering them to work towards common goals
  • Experience in managing complex projects, remaining agile in a constantly evolving environment

KEY FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • A strong networker with strong partner management skills.
  • A great communicator and ability to clearly articulate the problem and proposed solution
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design and business in a matrixed environment
  • An enthusiastic self-starter who can manage projects autonomously, with the ability to toggle between attending to detail and steering company strategy
  • Stakeholder management capability with strong business knowledge and the ability to navigate a complex internal partners’ network across the business
  • Storytelling and evangelism
  • Ability to understand and draw out key themes and trends from analysis of customer and market data
  • Strong left and right brain; known for creativity but also for analytical thinking and rigorous testing, measurement and iteration to drive continuous improvement
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you’re interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • As a key member of the Product management leadership team, you will share responsibilities for creating the right conditions and culture for our talented team of product managers to thrive. In addition, you will have line management responsibilities for a small team of product managers, who each manage products in the personalization and data portfolio.
  • Responsible for Product Vision and Strategy for Personalization platform - you will need to collaborate with other product, engineering and data leaders to bring this strategy to life, at scale for all our customers across the globe. This also includes the development of the portfolio OKRs.
  • Work closely with the business stakeholders to design personalization products that are easy to use and improve the efficiency of the operating teams.
  • Empower the product teams to set their product strategies and team OKRs, aligning with strategic priorities, providing deeper context, and access to key partners across the LEGO Group where necessary
  • Accountable for the delivery of value (we have ambitious consumer sales growth targets) - define and provide the right level of governance to enable product teams to achieve the goals and provide transparency to our key stakeholders.
  • Develop brilliant ways of working, supporting our culture of collaboration and bring stakeholders together so that we can ‘co-build’ our propositions and move at pace with experimentation.
  • Mentor product managers to confidently lead their teams through the ideation, development, and launch of innovative products and features.
  • Be an active member of the Product community
