PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in enterprise business systems and business software (specifically, SAP).
  • Experience with process improvement / operational excellence is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP/MRP Planning systems, including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality in ERP and best-of-breed software solutions is strongly preferred, with specific emphasis on SAP
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
  • Solid understanding of planning and purchasing systems and of concepts of inventory flow throughout the supply chain
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on capacity and product availability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate critical information
  • Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity relative to job level

Responsibilities:

  • Review forecast generated and provide input on changes required.
  • Develop and analyze 12-18 month supply plan and present to leadership.
  • Complete supply planning elements and initiate data into ERP system collaborate with demand planners.
  • Partner with Product Leadership (MFG, marketing, R&D, commercial) and attend their planning and strategy meetings.
  • Collect information and collaborate with other functions such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to identify events that will alter demand and incorporate into the forecast.
  • Prepare for and lead Supply review meetings.
  • Generate scenarios considering products, past event data, customer/market analysis, cannibalization, substitution, and other relevant parameters.
  • Prepares agenda, presents materials, and facilitates monthly resource requirement planning and sales and operations planning meetings.
  • Provide detailed capacity charts for business review meetings.
  • Build and maintain Capacity Evaluation tool for BU capacity planning with future opportunities with 5-year outlook.
  • Ability to run and maintain multiple spreadsheets / reports.
  • Maintain, measure and improve accuracy of planning data.
  • Enable plan to deliver/improve service & inventory targets by delivering/improving forecast measures.
  • Provide demand input into the S&OP process to allow for clarity of risks and opportunities.
