Product Manager - Algae Ingredients for Animal Nutrition

Within Corbion Nutrition and Health, the Animal Nutrition team offers a range of sustainable, safe and clean algae-based ingredients that deliver breakthrough innovations for animal nutrition applications.
The Product Manager is the product champion and expert for the portfolio and will contribute to the development and implementation of solutions across multiple market segments, including Aquaculture, Petfood and Production animals. The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout assigned products lifecycle, and is responsible for the demand management and pricing management for the assigned portfolio.
The Product Manager Animal Nutrition – Algae Ingredients will report directly to the Business Director Animal Nutrition and will closely collaborate with sales, technical sales, R&D, business development, supply chain and marketing.

We are looking for Product Manager, preferably with experience in a similar role in the Animal nutrition space. In addition, you meet the following criteria:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Lifecycle Management

• Execute product strategies in alignment with business strategies for all products
• Execute new product introductions (NPI’s), changes, rationalizations and product related documentation
• Support market and business development in close collaboration with the Marketing, Sales & BD
• Perform product portfolio reviews and execute related improvement initiatives
• Work with Operations in managing on structural customer complaints
• Generate competitive insights and translate into strategic and tactical actions for all commercial products
• Ensuring regulatory registrations and compliance in line with business strategy (executed by RA)
• Monitor and manage the profitability of the product portfolio by means of margin and gross profit analysis, value chain analysis

Demand Management

• Manages any discrepancies in demand and supply with sales and supply chain, in line with value strategy
• Represent the business teams in the S&OP.

Pricing Management

• Responsible for setting the price strategies and drive optimization of the annual revenue, margin and portfolio mix (P&L co-ownership)
• Managing pricing info and pricing approvals in line with procedures
• Support in global key account/customer contract negotiations and safeguard the execution of the agreed pricing strategies
