Kpler’s historical and core product is Cargo Tracking. From vessel positions and a multitude of data sources, we generate the best cargo data on the market: port calls, trades, quantities, products and more…
Working closely with engineers, data scientists, market analysts, fellow product managers and users, you will be responsible for maintaining and enriching the rich ecosystem of cargo data models and analytics. You will also take ownership of the delivery of raw cargo data, allowing users to consume the data in the most impactful way for them and for our data to reach an even greater audience.
As Product Manager in the Commodities tribe, you will gain a deep understanding of the cargo tracking in-and-outs, database architecture, internal tooling building, and will have the opportunity to work in a vertical crew that delivers value to final users.
Note: This role will be remote-first, working from the following countries:
Europe: United Kingdom, France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Cyprus

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • You are interested in the commodities market or shipping market and have good knowledge relative to either one coming from a relevant experience in the industry
  • You have an excellent analytical ability, are at ease with working with databases, and use complex data to deliver impactful products
  • You understand pipeline architecture, and are comfortable tracking data from original source to final destination
  • You are proficient in PostgreSQL
  • You are rigorous and problem-solving oriented
  • You have good communication skills, being able to connect with Market Analysts, Engineering, and Product
  • You are fluent in English (mandatory)
