YOUR SKILLS

  • University degree in computer science (economics), information systems, technical engineering or comparable disciplines
  • Several years of product management experience or software engineering experience ideally as product owner for IT solutions ideally in the data and analytics use cases area
  • Knowledge of modern data platform architecture and concepts, i.e. data mesh, modern data warehouse
  • First experience with cloud-based data and analytical technologies and experience with cloud deployments (Azure preferred) and multiple analytics software products, i.e. Fabric/Synapse, Databricks, SQL Server, Snowflake, Open AI, Dremio, LLMs
  • Good moderation and negotiation skills including very good practical knowledge of agile methodology, experience with domain-driven design a decisive plus
  • Excellent English language skills, German is a plus

  • You speak with data owners, producers and consumers to understand their needs
  • You design and own platform services and apply an engineering mindset to solve technical and functional requirements related to cloud technology for data analytics, e.g. Databricks or Open AI
  • You evaluate new technology applying software engineering practices to turn them into capabilities the platform users need, to own the full life cycle of your product from vision to retirement
  • Work on partnerships with global leaders in digital technology to identify additional enhancements for our platform components proactively, e.g. Microsoft, Databricks, etc.
  • You work in a dedicated, empowered agile team which is globally distributed, and you want to grow it, to better understand and deliver for the data product team
