Job Summary:
As a Product Manager at Central 1, you will play a crucial client-facing role, driving the strategy, development, and innovation of our product lines. You’ll establish the product roadmap, manage development, provide training, and ensure the successful delivery of small business and commercial products and services. Working with a dynamic team of business analysts, product owners, and developers, you’ll align efforts to transform customer experiences. Your work will involve researching, scoping, planning, and delivering products and services that meet our clients’ needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work directly with our members to develop strategic products and services that assist them in their day-to-day operations, strategic planning, or achieving operational efficiencies.
  • Based on member feedback and/or regulatory changes, prepare clear requirements and business case documents outlining changes/impacts to the product line, impacts on our members, and delivery timeframes.
  • Develop/build the products and/or services based on the agreed-upon requirements and ensure that they are consistent with the product roadmap and product line.
  • Own, develop, and deliver the product roadmap for the product line.
  • Ensure member and project billings are tracked and submitted.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver new products and services and roll out new products and services to the credit union system.
  • Prepare and deliver training for product line updates/changes and new product deployments.
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation/features that will enhance the member experience or drive additional member benefits.
  • Project management of agreed-upon product development and deliveries.
  • Partner with Fintech’s to bring innovative products and services to market.
  • Other projects as assigned.

What you’ll have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar product management position
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • Strong grasp of the product lifecycle
  • Capable of thinking strategically, conceptually, and analytically to shape the product vision for various features, including complex ones.
  • Deep knowledge of product development and management**: Familiar with key principles, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and strategically, both orally and in writing, with clients, technical teams, and other co-workers
  • Excellent research and analytical capabilities with the ability to balance quantitative data with qualitative observations
  • Experience in creating and presenting business cases and requirements documents
  • Proven ability to work with customers to understand, gather, and communicate product issues, usability challenges, changes, and requirements.
  • Adaptability to changing regulations and corporate environments
  • Ability to balances user experience with business goals
  • Detail-oriented but maintains a big-picture perspective
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and time management abilities
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities and deliverables
  • Strong Excel skills

Salary range: $86,300-107,800
The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
