Description:

Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Product Manager who will create and execute product marketing plans for the business, including go-to-market schedules, demand generation campaigns, and launch materials. The Product Manager is accountable for achievement of product KPIs such as revenue, margin, profitability, and market share.

Role and Responsibilities

  • P&L responsibility for the assigned product category.
  • Manage the month-over-month promotions and discounts for assigned products to drive sales and market share objectives, and to ensure that market forecasts are achieved. Assess the impact of missed forecasts on inventory and manufacturing and take corrective actions.
  • Formulate and direct the go-to-market strategy in conjunction with cross-functional partners in Demand Generation and Sales.
  • Overall product strategy and management of the product life cycle.
  • Lead new product innovation roadmaps in partnership with global HQ.
  • Product introductions and model launches in conjunction with the Sales team, Demand Generation team and other cross-functional partners.
  • Category expert in terms of industry and technology trends, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Monitors forecast-to-actuals, and works with sales, supply chain, and customer stakeholders to optimize inventory levels.
  • Develop customer-specific strategies, programs and pricing. Ongoing customer engagement and presentations.
  • Works with the Training team to create training material for sales associates.
  • Ensure optimal ROIs for marketing activities.

Skills and Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8-11 years of related industry or strategy experience is required. MBA is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Home Appliances is a must
  • Must have had traditional product marketing experience at a top industry player
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams across divisions (Sales, Demand Gen, Operations)
  • Demonstrate competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who can accomplish personal and business goals within established time frames.
