Description:

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop and articulate the product roadmap for our suite of hospitality APIs, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and customer needs.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for API products.
- Conduct customer interviews and take advantage of market and competitor analysis to understand industry trends, pain points, and opportunities.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of API products, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and customer onboarding materials.
- Engage with customer experience and consultancy teams to gather feedback and resolve customer issues related to API integrations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THIS ROLE:
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, including RESTful services, JSON, webhooks, and integration best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with API design tools (Swagger, Postman, etc.) and version control systems (Git).Knowledge and implementation of agile and product management techniques, tools & principles
- Ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and the backlog for alignment with Product strategy
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features.
- Effective ownership, prioritization and accountability for the product backlog with the ability to say “no” where items don’t make sense for the bigger picture.
