Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our team and design and develop our flagship website IDC.com through which IDC delivers its innovative products to its customers and which serves as a gateway to the IDC universe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand the vision for the product, contributing a product roadmap, and managing the dedicated part of the product backlog. The Technical Product Manager will work closely with the development team to ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers and is delivered on time and within budget.
The Technical Product Manager will report directly to the Vice President, Product Management and work closely with their peer Technical Product Managers, UX team and development teams building the IDC.com website and related products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define the product.
- Collaborating on creation of the product roadmap based on the product vision.
- Working with UX team to design the product features.
- Managing the product backlog and prioritize new features, defects, etc. based on customer needs.
- Working closely with the development team to ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers.
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
- Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager or similar role delivering digital products.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken), additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with databases, change management practices, and process engineering methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A mindset geared toward building relationships across multi-functional teams, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
