Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH) is uniquely positioned to revolutionize the way healthcare is delivered. Since 2017, BSWH has invested in modern technology, processes, people, and the cultural mindset to think radically and serve its consumers as a digital organization while delivering high quality care across the entire care continuum.
The healthcare industry faces many problems – affordability, substandard customer service, and inconsistency in care quality – and is not designed around the consumer needs. BSWH is on its journey to reimagine a system that is built around the needs of the customers it serves with high-value solutions to alleviate these pain points.
As part of its transformation, BSWH is building a customer-centric healthcare ecosystem and is incubating and commercializing new products and services that solve unmet consumer needs as part of a new Consumer Solutions business, an internal startup formed within the health system. Our initial product categories will focus on maintaining health, immediate care, and specialty care.
We are looking for people to join this exciting new team of passionate problem solvers that want to shape the future of healthcare delivery and reimagine the healthcare experience for consumers.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Product Manager for the Immediate Care product category will report directly into the Director of Product, Immediate Care. This role sits at the forefront of BSWH’s innovation agenda and will be responsible for supporting the planning, development, and launch of new, innovative products within the Immediate Care category that differentiate BSWH in the market.
The Product Manager will execute on the product roadmap, assist in the development of key product features, product documentation and support go-to-market planning. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team that is changing the status quo in how a healthcare provider goes to market and provides an environment that stimulates professional growth.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in healthcare or digital product management, product operations, or similar roles.
  • Experience with building new products following an agile methodology
  • Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps agile project management
  • Prior experience in a healthcare organization or health-related startup, particularly in the navigation space
  • Experience working with products that utilize chatbot, LLM, and generative AI technologies
  • Experience with AB testing and product driven hypothesis testing
  • Strong program management skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive a process forward.
  • Experience assessing and managing vendors
  • Exhibits a growth-mindset; can be nimble, is able to continuously test, learn, iterate, and pivot to meet customer needs
  • Able to coach and guide a high-performing team
  • Embraces ambiguity and thrives in a startup environment
  • Has a strong customer orientation and appreciates the value of customer research and journey mapping
  • Ability to travel to Dallas, as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor’s or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
  • EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Execute product roadmap aligned with BSWH strategy and organizational objectives
  • Ensure business requirements are translated into technical implementation
  • Support scalability of products across BSWH enterprise
  • Produce actionable insights to build product problem statement and use cases, including buyer and user personas
  • Analyze research to develop preliminary recommendation of external partners based on track record, current capabilities, and long-term outlook
  • Synthesize data to conduct addressable market assessment and sizing, as well as inventory the competitive landscape
  • Assess for and apply process improvements to optimize operations and financial performance
  • Partner with Director of Product to work with internal stakeholders (e.g. engineering, operations, finance) to understand use cases, assess costs and feasibility, and align product development with BSWH objectives
  • Collaborate with customer relationship counterparts to bring in the voice of the customer and ongoing strategy into the product delivery
  • Synthesize market intelligence data to help identify areas for enhancements until product reaches maturity
  • Support go-to-market strategies within product line
  • Assist in assessment of promotion channels and implement campaigns by channel to reach customers
  • Monitor and analyze product performance and competitive environment to support refinement of go-to-market strategy
  • Support implementation team in successful launch and implementation of products
  • Ability to work with and manage external vendors and provide support with contracting efforts
