Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years experience within insurance product management or related field
  • Business related tertiary qualifications
  • Insurance background or Insurance product management experience and skills preferrable.
  • Insurance management background in group and retail insurance.
  • Strong understanding of the operation of insurance within the superannuation environment;
  • Good understanding of the competitive market in which AMP operates
  • Strong understanding of insurance markets, competitors and the legislative and compliance environment, particularly the superannuation insurance market;
  • Good product technical knowledge, including understanding of interaction of product terms and conditions in managing overall insurance risk
  • High level of business acumen
  • Strong Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously, develop work plans and meet deadline
