We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Auckland. You will be responsible for ensuring the best possible end-to-end experience for Lightspeed retailers, by gaining a deep understanding of the retailer landscape and its challenges, setting the product strategy and discovering our next big opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role has clear and consistent communication and stakeholder management skills, you will contribute to a world-class product team and culture as a highly collaborative and effective team member with attention to detail.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Discover and Define: Precisely identify high-impact problems to solve at scale, maximising the team’s effectiveness and output.
  • Risk and Delivery: Share your understanding of business constraints and customer needs with your product team, ensuring everyone fully understands the problem and has the context needed to deliver effective solutions.
  • Influence and Stakeholder management: Leverage data and reasoning to gain support from teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, ensuring everyone is aligned on which problems to prioritise and the outcomes to aim for.

What you need to bring:

We’re looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Prior experience working on technology-driven products as a product manager, product designer, or user researcher.
  • Proven ability to learn and understand various functional areas of a business, including engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges, assess risks with sound judgment, and present well-structured, data-backed arguments in written form.
  • Previous experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a positive and productive manner.
