Description:
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
At Daedalus, we are building the world’s most advanced factories for precision parts. An essential component of our recipe and unfair advantage is FactoryOS, a holistic software system we are developing. It consists of business-critical internal and customer-facing applications. Internally, we orchestrate and automate all work to make our production process more efficient and reliable than previously possible. Externally, our software helps our customers get access to all the production data we collect.
As a Product Manager, you will own at least one of its applications. With your own squad of engineers, you will own the business impact of your application end-to-end, from product vision to product roadmap, user story implementation and feature rollout and support.
ABOUT US
Daedalus is a different kind of startup. We are a team of world-class engineers and manufacturing gurus on a mission to build the world’s first autonomous factory that can build anything.
With our world-leading experience from OpenAI, Google, SpaceX, Stripe, Blue Origin, Cruise and others, and venture backing from some of the biggest names in tech including Addition, Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator, we believe that revolutionary results can be built by a small group of creative minds working in concert. Join us on our journey to build the autonomous factory of the future to make precision components for spacecraft, medical devices, robotics, industrial machinery and many others. We are currently ramping up our first large factory in Germany and need your help to make it even more efficient and duplicate it across the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision for your area. You will be responsible for one of our applications and will define a vision that aligns with user needs and our overall product strategy.
- Understand business impact and collect user input. You will collect input from the users while conducting analyses to understand the overall business impact of different features.
- Manage the roadmap. You will make tactical prioritization decisions while helping the team think long-term. You will build trust with stakeholders by maintaining an understandable, accurate roadmap.
- Manage the feature backlog and rollout. You will manage the feature backlog of your squad, the rollout of new features to users and will provide support for questions from users post roll out.
- Data driven decision making. You will collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for significant business impact and will use your learnings to prioritize and inform how to improve the product.
