We are on an exciting journey to build world class device management Tools for our customers.
As the Product Manager On-Prem Tools, you will be instrumental in defining and launching these tools. You will also play a defining role in device connectivity to ease lifecycle management for our customers. Initially the tool will manage our flagship HID® Signo™ readers and then expand to manage other devices.
To be successful in the role, the candidate must have experience (minimum 5 years) in product management or equivalent with an emphasis on software tools, connectivity and device management within the RFID and physical access control industry. A technical understanding of physical access control, device management, keys, encryption and OSDP is highly desired.
You will take lead and drive customer needs and initiatives to maintain, support, and ensure the success of the business. You will work in a global team with other product managers, HID presales and tech support, Leadership teams & Business/Epic owners, Product Owners, Engineers and Operations professionals.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree – Engineering or related field (master’s degree is beneficial but not required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of contactless RFID readers, including embedded hardware, firmware with cloud and mobile touchpoints.
  • Understanding of HID Reader Product Range, specifically Signo
  • Familiar with HID Reader Manager
  • Understanding of existing HID Tools like CP1000.
  • Strong knowledge of the physical access control and/or physical security industry.
  • Experience with Agile development and lean innovation practices is a plus.
  • Training in SAFe such as Implementing SAFe and / or SAFe POPM.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork including international travel, therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport / visa.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
