JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Manager with a strong background in payroll solutions targeting the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payroll systems, compliance requirements, and customer needs in this space with hands-on experience building or supporting US based payroll application(s). You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of our payroll product strategy, ensuring it meets the specific needs of U.S.-based businesses in the Construction industry and complies with federal, state, and local regulations.

COMPLIANCE & REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stay up-to-date with U.S. payroll regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws, and ensure product compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory changes that impact our payroll solution.
  • Ensure that the payroll solution supports accurate tax calculations, timely filings, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with prevailing wage and union payroll processing and reporting highly desired

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on payroll solutions targeting the U.S. market.
  • Experience with payroll software and tools, as well as Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. payroll regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
