PRODUCT MANAGER PRECISION COMPONENTS SOUTH (FL, GA, TX, AL)

We are looking for a Product Manager- Precision Components (Medical Focus) for the South US Region (Florida, Georgia, Texas, Alabama). In this role you will be focused on selling PVD & PaCVD coating services into Precision Component applications. This will be a traveling position where you will focus on large regional and global accounts: roughly 50% of your time will be spent on Medical, with the remainder spent on other market segments. We are looking for someone that has experience in selling PVD or other surface treatments. The ideal candidate will know the coating industry, have sales experience, and be familiar with the medical device industry. You will work with the customer to sell coating solutions into the proper applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and drive new opportunities with potential customers as well as penetrate existing industries within the assigned market segment to grow Balzers’ products and services. Key focus; Medical
  • Negotiate and close sales opportunities in a timely manner with a focus on servicing the customer’s needs while generating profitable and long-term business relationships
  • Manage the designated Balzers CRM tool to forecast monthly sales potential
  • Provide project leadership as necessary to facilitate the acquisition of business and successful delivery customer requirements
  • Drive market segment development and product penetration using analytics and experience
  • Work within existing sales/marketing structure to facilitate segment growth, communication, and customer issue resolution as necessary
  • Maintain a high morale with all management and production personnel
  • Maintain respectful, prompt, and concise communication with customers
