Description:

PRODUCT MANAGER

We have an immediate opening for a talented Product Manager with solid experience within the Distribution/Technology sector to join our clients. Working for an established leading technology distribution business you will be responsible for driving the success of products through market expansion through managing current partners and recruiting new partners.
Salary c.£50K includes OTE

Key responsibilities for the Product Manager include,

  • Own the management and development of the brand(s) in all countries
  • Work closely with strategic partners ensuring them efficient commercial and sales support
  • Evaluate and recommend new business opportunities to grow sales or margins
  • Provide and lead Marketing and advertising promotional planning
  • Build trust relationships with strategic Partners/Customers
  • Manage, develop, and follow up the business with suppliers
  • Utilize collected information to identify new opportunities
  • Undertake competitor benchmarking to monitor competitor
  • Study feasibility and forecast of local customer campaigns

The ideal Product Manager will need,

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Commercial, technical, or Marketing
  • Experience in Product Management, ideally certified or trained on solution
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills
  • Good marketing and analytical skills
  • A minimum of 3 years+ relevant experience (Africa/channel, preferably distribution/technology)
  • English and French speaking preferred. Portuguese a bonus
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to understand and adapt to a multicultural environment

Note this is an office-based position.
