Responsibilities:

The following examples of duties and responsibilities illustrate the general range of tasks assigned to the position but are not intended to define the limits of required duties. Other essential duties may be assigned consistent with the general scope of the position.

  • Develop product branding strategy with the commercial team and execute product marketing
  • Develop expert knowledge of the assigned product line manufacturing and applications as well as customers and competitors
  • Manage customer service as assigned
  • Standardizes customer service procedures and practices for all business lines
  • Develop and maintain BCP (Business Continuity Plan) for all business lines
  • Support the business with customer and sales managers globally, outside of normal work hours
  • Work with sales and customers to develop Market Requirement Specifications (MRS) for existing products to achieve customer roadmap alignment
  • Manage all phases of the existing product lifecycle: continuous improvement and obsolescence
  • Gather, present, and maintain revenue and volume goals, margin objectives and pricing
  • Provide reports as required by internal stakeholders
  • Work with planning and finance to develop financial models: Cost of Goods Sold, Cost of Ownership, etc.
  • Develop content for collateral materials (product presentations, datasheets, articles, white papers, manuals, multimedia, etc.)
  • Provide product training to field sales & service
  • Support sales team to develop opportunity specific strategy and respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP)
  • Forecast relevant sales and communication to planning
  • Coordinate product allocation with planning
  • Define minimum acceptable margin and price requirements for field sales
  • Oversee Customer Quality Requests (CQRs)
  • Participate and lead the assigned product line cross functional product team
  • Attend tradeshows, sales calls, technology transfer meetings, etc. as required
  • Participate in industry trade associations, standards bodies, technical consortia, etc. as appropriat

  • Depending on location this position could be responsible for supervising Quality Assurance Technicians
