Description:

Sensio is a Nordic leader in the health care technology sector and solves today’s and tomorrow’s elderly care challenges for the benefit of residents, patients, healthcare personnel, and society. We create sensors, systems, and platforms that radically improve the quality and efficiency of health care – leading the sector to embrace technology and provide #MoreTimeForCare.
Sensio is on a journey from being the leading tech company in Scandinavia in the elderly care space to becoming a trusted transformation partner across Europe. This summer, we were acquired by Nordic Capital, one of Europe’s top private equity companies. Sensio has one of the leading in-house product development organizations in Norway with about 80 product people - in total we are a team of 200 colleagues. We are now looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of our flagship product, RoomMate.
RoomMate is a revolutionary safety sensor that detects and reduces falls using advanced algorithms. RoomMate will develop into a family of edge AI sensors with a variety of price and performance characteristics. The team is tasked with finding the best solutions within digital supervision and is free to explore different sensor technologies like radar and computer vision, in addition to the current time-of-flight solutions.
As a Product Manager at Sensio, you will be part of a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with designers and developers. You will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver insight-based solutions aligned with the quality demanded by our customers and high standards of the healthcare domain. At Sensio, we are working with modern product development principles based on continuous product discovery and product delivery.
The role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Sensio. Work location is split between Sensio’s head office in Oslo and the RoomMate product team’s office in Sandvika.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development of RoomMate from concept to completed product – with a dedicated focus on innovation based on insight.
  • Ensure that RoomMate delivers on reducing falls, improving quality of sleep, reducing stress among health care professionals, and enabling #MoreTimeForCare.
  • Collaborating closely with developers and designers to create innovative and scalable products.
  • Communicate closely with customers and users to understand their needs and align this with product development.
  • Explore new technologies that enhance our products.
  • Ensure that RoomMate delivers on Sensio’s business objectives and continues to be an accelerator in the company’s international expansion.

What we are looking for

  • Proven, deep competence as Product Manager with a strong track record in developing successful and scalable tech products.
  • Experience with hardware, embedded systems, and machine learning product development is an advantage.
  • Strong team builder – even though this role will not have direct reports, we are looking for someone who builds high-performing teams.
  • Competency in applying modern product development processes as a standard way of working.
  • Higher education in tech, business, or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for this.
  • Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language.

What we offer

  • Meaningful work with purpose – making a difference for health care personnel, patients, and next-of-kin.
  • The opportunity to be part of a Norwegian tech company with ambitions of becoming a global leader.
  • Leading the product development of Sensio’s flagship product.
  • To be part of an innovative culture focused on collaboration and user-centric development.
  • Great opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
