Description:

POSITION: Product Manager REPORTS TO: Director, Marketing and Product Management
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our product management and marketing team. This role is responsible for working collaboratively with multiple departments to lead, develop and implement new and existing product management programs to drive growth and efficiency for the One Degree Brand.

EXPERIENCE

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a business, communication, or marketing role
  • You have a Degree or Diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing or related discipline field
  • You have project management experience, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer product goods industry

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in executing a plan for Product Management that aligns with the corporate strategy
  • Lead the product launch process and function as the gatekeeper of the WRIKE project management process
  • Maintain adequate communication with all stakeholders about the status of the product launch process
  • Maintain a product grid document that includes complete data for each SKU
  • Create and lead a new product specification documentation for the commercialization of all new products
  • Initiate communication between various departments as necessary to ensure coordinated marketing and promotional activities to achieve the road map targets for each SKU
  • Ensure adequate data is tracked and reported to provide insights on each SKU’s performance as well as on industry and competitor trends
  • Participate in the product strategy and product development processes
  • For larger packaging projects lead and manage the timeline and approvals through to completion
  • Lead in planning budgets, setting KPIs and reviewing reports for Product Management
  • Establish metrics for measuring product management progress to ensure adequate reporting of product management activities
  • Maintain a comprehensive digital product library to drive the rapid translation of new innovation into finished products
  • Work with finance to maintain current P&Ls for each product and alert the appropriate leadership when a product is outside the target net profit margins
  • Initiate communication between various departments as necessary to ensure coordinated marketing and promotional activities to achieve the road map targets for each SKU
