Soil Capital is looking for a curious, experienced and highly motivated individual who shares our enthusiasm for regenerative and low carbon agriculture.
Soil Capital is a mission-driven company with expertise in regenerative agriculture and low-carbon transition of agricultural systems. Operating internationally, Soil Capital’s ambition is to accompany farmers in the transition of one million hectares to more profitable and regenerative agriculture by 2025.
We have developed Europe’s first certified carbon payment programme for farmers, called Soil Capital Carbon. It allows farmers to measure and certify their carbon footprint each year, while valuing their reduced carbon emissions and/or increased soil carbon storage on the carbon markets. Agricultural and food companies use Soil Capital Carbon as a transition tool to engage their farmers in a certified low-carbon approach and build new value opportunities through the development of certified low-carbon value chains.
Soil Capital Carbon is supported by mySoilCapital, a farmer and partner portal that collects, process and delivers data so that farmers and partners can implement better regenerative and low carbon agriculture.

WHY WE NEED YOU?

We’re looking for an amazing Product Manager to help us fulfil our product ambitions. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to continuously enhance our solutions based on the needs of farmers and agronomists.
We expect you to understand our business priorities, conduct thorough discovery, break down complex projects into actionable milestones, define clear requirements for the engineering team, and drive delivery to meet business goals
As a Product Manager, you are committed to continuous improvement and to delivering an intuitive, user-friendly experience for our users.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gain a deep understanding of our users’ persona and how they interact with our platform, identify product opportunities.
• Define a product strategy to efficiently build the most impactful solution that meet the company’s objectives.
• Scope and prioritize needs in order to define a realistic product roadmap based on the available resources.
• Translate strategy and user needs into detailed requirements, and prototypes that can then be tested.
• Define and measure outcomes.
• Be user centric by constantly collecting, sorting and acting upon feedback and metrics.
• Collaborate with the tech team, internal key players and the product designer to define the required specifications.
• Connect with stakeholders and ensure high communication quality and transparency.Collaborate with the CPO to build the product strategy and improve processes.
