Product Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our state-of-the-art websites made for our banking clients that sell structured products. These websites need to efficiently handle and display a large volume of market data, ensuring performance, security, and user-friendliness. The role requires a strong technical background, experience in the financial sector, and an ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. As a client-facing Product Owner, you will also coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction. Fluency in both German and English is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, etc.).
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data management.
• Familiarity with market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, SIX, Morningstar, Refinitv etc.) and APIs.
• Understanding of financial instruments, especially structured products.
• Knowledge of web security practices and data protection protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver client-focused solutions.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.Fluency in both German and English is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with data visualization libraries and tools.

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for dynamic and responsive state-of-the-art websites for our many financial services clients.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure the websites are secure, scalable, and perform well under high traffic.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
• Serve as a secondary and from time to time primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing technical solutions.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
• Integrate and manage large datasets, ensuring accurate and real-time market data display.
• Work with our design team, business analysts, and project managers on a daily basis.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the product.
• Monitor product performance and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with web security practices and data protection protocols.
