REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, in a technology-focused role.
  • Strong technical background and experience working with software development teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment, building from the ground up.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product decisions.
  • Knowledge of market research and product analytics tools.
  • Experience in the Logistics and Transportation industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES

  • Mentor, coach and grow a team of Product Owners, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, learning and empowerment. This includes partnering with Human Resources with ongoing talent acquisition.
  • Talent acquisition and With a strong understanding of product life cycles, work closely with business stakeholders to develop product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on business value and customer feedback, balancing timeline priorities and quality requirements.
  • Develop and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is always up-to-date and reflects the latest priorities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, and testers to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and drive product improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
  • Facilitate maintenance of status quo products.
