We’re seeking an innovative Product Marketer to join our dynamic, fast-growing team, where you’ll play a crucial role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Product Marketer, you will be instrumental in shaping the go-to-market strategy and product positioning for OPTO. Key responsibilities include:
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product features and market expansions, ensuring product-market fit and optimal positioning.
- Campaign Management: Spearhead product marketing campaigns, using eCRM (e.g. Braze) to execute on email, in-app, and push notifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Customer Activation & Retention: Optimize the customer journey, focusing on onboarding and activation processes to improve conversion rates and reduce churn.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs, using insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing: Drive lead generation through innovative marketing tactics like eBooks, webinars, and targeted outreach.
- Content Creation & Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of content marketing strategies, including SEO articles, newsletters, and social media campaigns, targeting specific regions and customer segments.
- Partnership & Influencer Management: Cultivate relationships with influencers and media partners to boost brand visibility and product adoption.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools to track campaign performance, user behaviour, and product usage, providing actionable insights to improve marketing efforts.
- Target & OKR setting: Use data to optimise towards Objective-Key-Results. Help set relevant KPIs to drive personal and team performance.
- Project management: Manage complex marketing campaigns across multiple channels, requiring coordination with various cross-functional teams.
- Audience research & segmentation: Conduct market research and user interviews to segment audience effectively. Deliver targeted communications across funnel stages. Synthesize findings to understand OPTO’s audience deeply.
Key Skills and Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in product marketing, ideally within a tech or fintech environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies and successful product and product feature launches.
- Experience in customer onboarding, activation, and retention strategies.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation tools and email marketing platforms.
- Ability to manage and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social media, and in-app platforms.
- Expertise in data analytics and relevant tools to track user engagement and improve product features accordingly.
- Exceptional content creation and editorial management skills, with a focus on tailoring content to different regions or customer segments.
- Strong project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with market research and audience segmentation to inform strategy.
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships and influencer relationships to drive growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
- Genuine interest in investments and FinTech
- Basic financial markets and industry knowledge
- Degree from a reputable university
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
