Base pay: £35k-45k

Opportunity for a motivated Product Marketing Executive to join a high-growth technology start-up focused on eliminating fuel poverty and improving living standards in social housing through data insights.
Reporting to: Product Marketing Manager
Location: This is a remote first role with quarterly company gatherings and limited customer travel and team away days.

  • Proactive self-starter: takes initiative to identify and pursue opportunities and projects within the business.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Product marketing or related experience: minimum of 1-2 years experience in product marketing, brand management, or product management within tech/SaaS platforms. A clear understanding of and motivation for product marketing is essential.
  • Competitor analysis: experience in building competitor profiles or other marketing intelligence information, structuring and delivering to organisation to inform strategy.
  • Experience in dynamic environments: experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment such as a scale-up, start-up, or consulting firm, or similar with a high performance culture.

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you’ll develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to help us reach new and existing customers with clear and compelling messaging that inspires them to learn about, and adopt Switchee.
You’ll work with many teams across the organisation including Product Engineering, Commercial and Customer Success. You will help shape the future of Switchee through alignment with cross-business work streams and product roadmap development, driving product launches and creating the narratives to inspire the social housing industry. You’ll have a good sense of overall industry trends, and the competitive landscape, and apply this knowledge to our positioning and business materials.

As a Product Marketing Executive, your role will focus on the following:

  • Product launches and updates: support new launches with outward-facing messaging, bringing to life technical features in ways that excite and speak to the right audience.
  • Market intelligence: build a detailed, bottom-up picture of the competitor landscape, and keep a pulse on industry trends, capabilities of other providers, and customer needs.
  • Sales enablement: communicate the value proposition of exciting new offerings in any of our core areas of decarbonisation/net zero, fuel poverty and mould risk. Develop sales tools such as live training sessions, presentations, brochures, and info-sheets to support the selling process.
  • Product positioning and messaging: develop and maintain differentiated positioning and messaging for Switchee products and services to be used in various marketing activities.
  • Project and stakeholder management: manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and effective collaboration across teams. Coordinate with stakeholders to align objectives, gather input, and drive progress, ensuring that project milestones are met and that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the process.
  • Demand generation and content creation: contribute to demand generation and campaign planning. Create thought leadership content, work with videographers for content that comes to life, blogs, webinars and more.
  • Brand awareness: communicate and share knowledge with industry experts and analysts to increase positive brand awareness. Attend events to represent Switchee
