About the Job
The Red Hat Ansible Product Marketing team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join us in Raleigh or Durham, NC. In this role, you will define and execute the product marketing strategy for Red Hat Ansible as a part of a larger Product Marketing Team. The role includes driving both the outbound product marketing activities and Red Hat sales enablement.
What You’ll Do
- Develop understanding of customer goals and challenges, target markets, use cases, sales motions for Red Hat Ansible and translate into effective plans and activities
- Develop marketing strategy and execution aligned with market directions, and supported by the roadmap and releases of our offerings
- Develop Sales plays and tactics focusing on customer pain points, benefits, and business outcomes
- Lead and influence development of content to help gain mindshare and drive customer wins, e.g., messaging, thought leadership, presentations, sales plays, demos, reference architectures, battlecards, webpages, win wires, etc.
- Evangelize Red Hat Ansible both internally and externally via webinars, social media, roadshows, industry events, customer briefings, sales training workshops, etc.
- Influence industry analysts, customer campaign and field enablement programs
- Develop and track the success metrics for the marketing strategy and execution plan
- Deliver impactful presentations at key industry and Red Hat events to relevant audiences
- Collaborate with technical marketing and product management on go-to-market strategy, including roadmap, positioning, messaging, and content plans
- Collaborate internally at Red Hat (Product Management, Engineering, Alliances, Corporate Marketing teams, Sales teams, Ecosystem)
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of product or technical marketing experience, preferably with B2B Technology companies
- Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree is a plus
- Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions
- Ability to translate Red Hat Ansible Automaton Platform features into customer benefits and business outcomes
- Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting is a plus
- Experience working effectively in a persuasion-oriented, cross-functional environment
- Ability to work with some supervision in a startup-like environment
- Basic understanding of the common technical jargon of the information technology (IT), operations, software application development, databases, cloud, DevOps
- Willingness to travel 10-25%
- Experience with the following technologies and use cases is a plus: Ansible, Terraform, IT Automation, Configuration Management, Provisioning, IT Operations, Networking, Cloud technologies, Containers, Kubernetes, Virtualization, etc.. Public cloud offerings like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, and Event driven architectures, AI/ML, Edge computing

The salary range for this position is $80,770.00 - $129,160.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
