What you’ll do at Elekta
At Elekta, we don’t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. In the role as Product Marketing Manager, you will use technical, clinical, and market expertise to develop compelling value propositions, messaging and positioning strategies, developing supporting proof points and identifying new opportunities for Elekta’s solutions with focus on the Neurosurgery solutions portfolio.
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for outbound marketing strategies & programmes and work closely with Portfolio Management to develop strategies & content and partner with Regional Marketing to facilitate the development & implementation of enablement programmes critical in activating the sales teams & channels to achieve financial & market share targets for the Neuro portfolio. In addition, responsibilities will include to generating relevant Clinical Proof-points that supports & adds credentials to the product Value Propositions.
The Product Marketing Manager will coordinate & drive pre-launch, launch and post-launch phases for new product releases as well as marketing programmes.
Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the Product Marketing Manager will also be responsible for:
- Support & guide customers to develop publications and other clinical output ·
- Develop KOL’s and other customer champions that will act as evangelists and peer influencers
- Facilitate best clinical best practices across customers & regions
- Provide training to customer facing personnel (account managers, regional marketeers and sales specialists, etc.) to ensure consistency & competence in effectively delivering product messaging & positioning
- Work with Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, Regions, Portfolio management & other relevant partners to align Elekta Neuro portfolio and regional/global needs
- Definition of strategic positioning against the competition, within the Elekta solutions portfolio and alternative treatment modalities
- Identification and development of solid proof points, supporting value proposition, product positioning, and messaging
- Effectively coordinate and leverage internal and external expert resources (e.g. focus groups, advisors, etc.) to validate and continually improve the value proposition, messaging, product positioning, related strategies, and deliverables
- Work with Regional Marketing to track progress of relevant KPI’s to support demand generation & achievement of financial targets
- Work with internal partners including E&T to produce relevant & innovative sales tools & facilitate product training & other enablement activities for the sales teams incl. positioning & messaging of key selling points & competitive objection handling. Develop KPI’s to track sales compliance and content success.
- Perform competitive review and analysis & leverage learnings to modify and adapt messaging, communications & positioning to local challenges & opportunities.
- Provide support & offer expertise to other Product Marketing teams to reinforce the value proposition of solutions & product bundles
- Work closely with medical affairs & external customer partners on definition and development of key claims with proof-points to feed clinical marketing collateral & output
- Participate & support cross-functional commercialization activities (pre, during and post commercial launch), working closely with the cross-functional team, and lead overall commercialization management activities as Commercialization Manager as needed
What you bring
- A scientific, clinical or engineering background with an experience in the HC sector and an experience in Marketing, Engineering or Healthcare Technology
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing,. MSc or MBA.
- Minimum of 3 years commercial experience in HC sector
- Experience in Clinical Marketing or Product marketing and/or Product management are considerations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Expertly skilled at producing & delivering highly polished, compelling and professional presentations
- Experience from working in and managing within a truly international, global organization.
- Experience from working cross-functionally, and in cross-location teams
- Ability to multi-task and successfully execute projects under a heavy workload and changing conditions
- Willingness and flexibility to travel locally & internationally
