Description:

SUMMARY

Product Marketing tells our product’s story to the market. We directly impact the business by working closely with Product and Growth teams to turn value propositions into compelling messages for customers and prospects, driving acquisition and engagement.
In this role you will be a core member of the Growth team. Your initial focus will be on scaling up top-of-funnel discovery opportunities for Nomad through digital advertising and other acquisition channels. You will work with the Growth Product Manager as well as Social Media Manager to ensure that the right marketing channels and tactics are being utilized to deliver Growth initiatives.
Your long-term, primary responsibility will be to develop effective marketing strategies and detailed GTM plans to ensure Product and Growth are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities. You will have a hand in shaping Nomad’s nascent brand in the travel space, and ensuring that brand values and personalities are authentically delivered through our online presence. You’re not representing a corporation, you’re representing a team of people building a product they love, for an audience they deeply care about.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-5 years of experience in product marketing and digital advertising, particularly on the various Google Ads channels (Search, Display, Video etc), and the various Meta Ads channels (Instagram, Facebook). TikTok Advertising experience is a plus
  • Focus on social / travel / leisure / hospitality companies a plus, as is experience with KOLs / influencers and SEO content generation
  • Bachelor’s in marketing related / social media related fields a plus but not required
  • Excellent spoken English - able to wield language skillfully to match a specified tone of voice and brand-led strategic messaging in, for example, copy-writing
  • Excellent organizational skills (keen planner, good at managing projects, attention to detail, and able to keep on top of a busy content calendar)
  • Strong business analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to managing metrics
  • Able to take ownership of initiatives and execute on ideas quickly, especially in environments where there are no “right answers”; love working in a startup environment and building things from 0 to 1
  • Able to work in a remote, distributed team

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deploy the digital advertising budget across all our digital marketing channels (e.g. Facebook Ads, multi-platform Google Ads campaigns i.e. Search, Video, App, Display)
  • Track and Analyze the performance of all marketing programs (including ad spend) to identify the best opportunities for optimization, regularly iterate to maximize performance, and provide data-backed insights to optimize future campaigns and find new opportunity areas
  • Drive the GTM strategy for Nomad’s travel brand and various features. Develop personas, messaging and positioning, and align this with the Growth PM’s growth initiatives including content, promotions, campaigns, partnerships to achieve business priorities
  • Execute and track program deliverables, milestones, action items, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Partnership outreach for GTM partnerships in the travel space - such as airlines, hotels, OTAs, attractions and F&B
  • Review and enhance the Social Media strategy for Nomad, maintaining consistent messaging and brand personality across our main channels (IG, TikTok, FB)
  • Create and maintain a marketing calendar.
  • Review creative materials including video animation, illustrations, etc.
  • Market research to review international travel patterns, eSIM and smartphone trends.
