Are you a customer driven and highly competent Product Marketer looking for a new challenge? Swapcard is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead this function within our marketing team. By joining us, you are guaranteed to have a direct impact in our go-to-market strategy and marketing & sales success.
Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this role has both strategic and hands-on execution responsibilities. and will serve as the critical link between product, sales, and marketing. You will lead and transform the product marketing and sales enablement functions, helping set the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and product teams. And, you will build and maintain a strong understanding of our product roadmap, customer solutions, and the event tech market, including partners and competitors.
This role requires a marketer with a strong vision, who can elevate the quality of product marketing activities, craft compelling product narratives, and adopt innovative approaches to product storytelling and sales enablement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building best-in-class product marketing programs and working with products teams from product/feature conception through launch to broad adoption.
Responsibilities:
- GTM Strategy: Support pipeline growth through direct & partner sales channels. Research and advise on verticals, segments, personas, themes, and topics for integrated marketing programs and assess their effectiveness.
- Product Launches: Plan the launches of net-new products/features and releases of new capabilities and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Ensure that the GTM roles are enabled to use the latest product capabilities and are ready to take them to market.
- Market intelligence: Be the expert on our buyers - how and why they buy and their buying journey. Conduct research to drive positioning, messaging, and promotion.
- Positioning and Messaging: Define and refine corporate and product positioning, messaging, and value frameworks to differentiate our brand and resonate with target audiences.
- Sales Enablement & Success: Partner with our sales leaders to drive win rate and sales velocity by developing compelling messaging and assets that drive purchase decisions, including sales playbooks, value assessment tools, and presentations. Understand, support, and train our sales channels.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the primary liaison and strategist between product management, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Competitors: Conduct Win/Loss analysis, create and maintain a knowledge base of the competitive landscape, gain insight to improve differentiation and craft competitive positioning.
- Product roadmap: Track product/feature usage trends to inform product development, pricing/packaging, content, and collateral
- Content: Write expert articles and present at industry events
