YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
- Product Marketing: 2-5 years of product marketing experience, including at least 1 year in a market-facing role (e.g., delivering presentations to customers).
- Market Research and Analysis: Minimum of 2 years experience in competitor analysis and market research, with the ability to generate actionable insights for product development.
- Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with multiple business units, such as Growth, Product, and Customer Success, and to drive initiatives forward.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to tell the “story” of the products across internal and external audiences.
- Marketing Strategy: Demonstrated experience in implementing and evolving marketing strategies, creating compelling collateral and product messaging.
- Technical Proficiency: Competency in relevant tools such as data analytics, project management, CMS, CRM (e.g., HubSpot), and graphic or video editing software (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva).
- Curiosity and Research Skills: A proactive approach to research and curiosity to uncover insights, connect product features to business benefits, and drive continuous improvement.
- Public Speaking: Comfortable speaking in front of groups, with the ability to communicate product concepts effectively.
Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Messaging and Positioning: Collaborate with the Growth and Product teams to develop and communicate clear product positioning and messaging for both internal and external audiences.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to inform product positioning, pricing strategies, and identify new opportunities.
- Sales and Marketing Collateral: Assist in creating sales guides, playbooks, presentations, and other marketing materials to support sales and marketing teams in effectively promoting Compono’s products.
- Customer Discovery and Insights: Work closely with the Growth and Product teams to facilitate customer discovery processes, gather client feedback, and provide actionable insights to guide product development.
- Product Launch Communication: Support the communication of new product launches, updates, and roadmap developments to internal teams, clients, and other external stakeholders.
- Business Development Support: Act as a subject matter expert in webinars, events, and sales qualification processes, and collaborate with Growth and Marketing teams to monitor the sales pipeline.
- External Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry analysts, and partners to enhance Compono’s market positioning.
- Documentation and Presentations: Contribute to the preparation of stakeholder-ready documentation, including research findings, product concepts, and strategy presentations.
