Description:
Are you an experienced Product Owner? If you’re proficient in Agile, expert in managing a squad of engineers and are data driven, this could be the role for you. We’re looking for Product Owners to join AXA Retail’s Partnerships Product team for a 12-month fixed term contract. Two positions are available. One will focus on the design and delivery of a new van insurance product and the other a large-scale product migration to AXA Retail. Please indicate if you have a preference.
You’ll be responsible for executing our vision, creating and delivering your own product roadmaps. You’ll ensure your backlog is aligned with business and Tribe goals throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design and delivery to ongoing operations. Requirements will be prioritised to ensure continuous flow of value from the development team, always with a customer needs viewpoint.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. You’ll spend time in our London office every fortnight.
We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
WHO WE ARE:
AXA Retail helps people live the life they love, knowing we’ve got their back, at home and on the road. Our people are vital to us becoming more digital, faster and easier to access. We’re a dynamic team of experts completely committed to making sure our customers ‘get back to the good stuff’ when the unexpected happens
Responsibilities:
- Clearly define product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and guides development efforts.
- Create, prioritise, and constantly refine product backlog, ensuring it reflects current business needs and customer priorities.
- Define clear acceptance criteria for user stories and features.
- Deliver features and functionalities that meet defined acceptance criteria, quality standards and customer needs.
- Meet agreed timeframes and budget constraints, demonstrating efficient and effective product development practices.
- Third party stakeholder engagement and alignment.
Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.
