Qualifications

  • Experience as a Product Owner with proven track record of successful value delivery is required.
  • Experience working with Squads using a variety of methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is required.
  • Product Owner certification is an advantage.
  • An understanding of Wealth Management and knowledge relating to client servicing e.g., onboarding, asset transfer, SIPP etc. highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform & Dynamics 365 desirable.

Skills

  • Comfortable operating at pace and able to balance multiple priorities where elements of change and uncertainty are the norm and to be expected.
  • Ability to successfully prioritise a Product backlog aimed at delivering the highest value changes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, able to communicate requirements in a variety of formats as appropriate.
  • Strong business value orientation, to enable shared clarity as to the intended business goals of a technological solution.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities:

Purpose
As a Product Owner you play an important role in delivering the Product vision and helping maximise the value of the Product. This includes applying an iterative test & learn approach to product development through writing user stories and refining features, as well as ensuring effective Product Backlog management for current quarter deliverables. You will bring your past experience to a talented Squad to further evolve the Platform capabilities and unlock new value for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for maximising the value delivered in each sprint throughout the quarter, ensuring that deliveries meet the quarterly goals and objectives set by the Product Manager working to maximize the value of the Product.
  • Be responsible for ordering Product Backlog items at a Story level with consideration given to value and effort.
  • Communicate effectively with your Squad so that product requirements and priorities are well understood through fostering a shared vision and purpose.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by the Squad and relevant stakeholders.
  • Leverage iterative delivery cycles to reduce product development risk through a targeted test and learn approach.
  • Support product launches, ensuring that any business impacts are actively managed which may include creating training materials and assisting with communicating or upskilling internal teams as new functions and features are delivered to live.
  • Collaborate with Analysts and Product Managers to optimise your collective value and impact.
  • Support the Product Manager in monitoring the performance and scalability of your product against KPIs.
  • Support managing key supplier relationships in accordance with 7IM guidelines.
  • Adherence to all applicable compliance standards and best practices at all times.
  • Acting consistently in accordance with the 7IM VPVPs.
