POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Achieve specific business performance outcomes through the design and delivery of customer and business-focused solutions to incrementally improve our insurance claims processes
  • Provide strategic direction and clarity of purpose to the delivery resources
  • Engage & work closely with the Key Stakeholders, Change Delivery Managers and Business Analysts to define scope & measures of success
  • Engage with Stakeholders from across the Business to ensure the suitability, compliance and success of proposed solutions
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, SMEs and the Development Teams to create clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • In conjunction with the Delivery Managers, manage risks, issues and dependencies between backlog items and multiple Stakeholders
  • Execute optimal and timely delivery of prioritised initiatives in conjunction with Leaders across Technology, Digital, Product and Claims & Assessing
  • Ensure the Development Team understands the product backlog and business value to successfully deliver each sprint/ increment / initiative, with a focus on regular value dropsTake responsibility for planning and organisation of sprint backlogs, ensuring there are well groomed and pointed sprints

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Product Owner/Technical Product Manager desirable
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement & management with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and/or experience of General Insurance or Financial Services – favourableClaims & Assessing and Audanet (Solera) experience desirable
