Description:
Job Title: Product Owner
Location: Kitchener, ON (in-person)
BinSentry is seeking an experienced Product Owner to take charge of our flagship feed monitoring product to ensure its continued growth, relevance, and success. The Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and sales, to drive the product roadmap, prioritize features, and deliver a product that exceeds customer expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing products.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to facilitate customer conversations in a credible fashion.
- Comfortable balancing technical details and high-level strategy.
- Strong data analysis skills are an asset.
- Team player, with a positive attitude.
- Experience in Agriculture/AgTech is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Define the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
- Define product requirements and work closely with product design and development teams to make appropriate design choices.
- Conduct customer interviews and work with the sales and success teams to translate customer needs into features that drive value.
- Identify market opportunities and customer needs through research, user feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to define product positioning and support product launches.
