Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.
- Experience working in an Agile environment an asset
- Experience with In-Flight Services an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a history of achieving product success and driving business outcomes.A passion for empowering cabin crew through forward-thinking digital solutions
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to execute the digital product vision and roadmap for cabin crew journey at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge.
- Detail features and functionality by creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, triaging bugs, and maintaining a well-prioritized backlog.
- Participate in all pod-level Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide daily support to the development team, offering clarifications, ensuring understanding of product vision, driving quality, and amplifying progress.
- Collaborate with the QA team to provide clear explanations of acceptance criteria, review and triage reported bugs, and ensure timely resolution.
- Partner closely with the UI/UX team to ensure a thorough understanding of product requirements and drive the creation of user-centric designs.
- Conduct user research and interpret analytics to support data-driven discovery, refinement, and prioritization.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including cabin crew, crew scheduling, and IFS management, to identify business needs and translate them into comprehensive product requirements.
- Drive the product lifecycle, from development to launch and continuous enhancement, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Communicate product progress, outcomes, and blockers to the Product Manager and key stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
