Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment an asset
  • Experience with In-Flight Services an asset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a history of achieving product success and driving business outcomes.A passion for empowering cabin crew through forward-thinking digital solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to execute the digital product vision and roadmap for cabin crew journey at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge.
  • Detail features and functionality by creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, triaging bugs, and maintaining a well-prioritized backlog.
  • Participate in all pod-level Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide daily support to the development team, offering clarifications, ensuring understanding of product vision, driving quality, and amplifying progress.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to provide clear explanations of acceptance criteria, review and triage reported bugs, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Partner closely with the UI/UX team to ensure a thorough understanding of product requirements and drive the creation of user-centric designs.
  • Conduct user research and interpret analytics to support data-driven discovery, refinement, and prioritization.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including cabin crew, crew scheduling, and IFS management, to identify business needs and translate them into comprehensive product requirements.
  • Drive the product lifecycle, from development to launch and continuous enhancement, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Communicate product progress, outcomes, and blockers to the Product Manager and key stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
