Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
My client is a leading embedded payments provider scaling their product function. They are searching for a Product Owner with card payments experience to manage end-to-end product ownership, working directly with engineers in an open API and event-driven environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
- Supporting the Head of Product with the creation and maintenance of the roadmap and its delivery.
- Experience in end-to-end product ownership working directly with engineers, ideally with experience in open API and event driven based architectures.
- The candidate needs to demonstrate knowledge across the card payments space, including expertise in card payments, card network schemes such as Mastercard and Visa, or experience in card issuing, acquiring, card acceptance or EMI.
- Creating and owning a “live” product vision and roadmap which articulates the evolution of the product and demonstrates the value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements for card payment solutions.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to translate business needs into functional specifications for card payment schemes changes.
- Ensure any solutions and products have a defined operating model and processes (existing or new), they are documented, understood, and “bought-in to” by all stakeholders.
- Work with other Product managers and development teams from a B2B environment.
- A good understanding of payments landscape – Including, Card Payments, schemes, issuing or acquiring experience.
