KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferably French speaking, able to travel to Paris once a month
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Preferably experience in Field product or process automation/ workflow
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities:

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC PRODUCTS

Certain workforce products have been tailored to a specific customer’s needs. A Causeway Strategic Client Partner may act as the customer liaison in such projects.

The following additional responsibilities apply to these products:

  • Work with the customer and/or Strategic Client Partner to refine requirements, ensuring these are realistic and clearly articulated. This includes any prioritised fixes from support and high-priority security fixes.
  • Estimate and price delivery of requested items into a release, working with the Strategic Client Partner who will approve scope and pricing before being shared with the customer.
  • Create a project plan to deliver the approved scope to an agreed timescale, agreeing key milestones with the customer and/or Strategic Client Partner.
  • Manage delivery against the agreed timescale, escalating any risks or issues that may prevent on-time delivery.
  • Feedback on any assumptions and further refinements to requirements that arise during the specification, development and quality assurance stages.
  • Perform regular status reviews with the customer and/or Strategic Client Partner to discuss any requirements queries, review progress and schedule customer activities such as UAT and go-live.
  • Obtain documented sign-off for key stages (such as UAT completion and go-live).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand and communicate the product vision, strategy, and objectives to the development team.
  • In collaboration with stakeholders, create and manage the product backlog,
  • Refine ideas, detail user stories, and technical tasks. Incorporate high-priority security and support fixes.
  • Prioritise the backlog with stakeholders based on business value, technical feasibility and customer impact.
  • Participate and Perform sprint planning meetings in collaboration with the Product team and agree to sprint goals.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies with the Product team including stand-ups, backlog refinement and sprint reviews
  • Work with the Engineering team to provide clear direction and acceptance criteria for development tasks.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team during sprints, answering questions, and providing feedback on progress.
  • Oversee quality assurance to ensure deliverables meet the defined acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with the Product team to define and communicate delivery plans, sharing and refining these with the Product Manager and other appropriate stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor the product’s performance, gather insights, and suggest improvements for future iterations
