Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To work with the engineering team & Product Management to define, and refine an iterative delivery.
We are looking for a Product Owner to join OAG and work with an established engineering team called Space Oddities, their primary ownership is within our Pricing domain. The Pricing domain empowers 180+ airlines globally by monitoring their competitor behavior and pricing.

MAIN TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data delivery of tens of thousands of files containing 10+ billion airfares per day
  • Data delivery using Snowflake/SFTP/Public Cloud Storage
  • Data Products leveraging a unique data lake of historical airfare data

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Engaging with Customer Experience (CX) and Customers
  • Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to align on goals and objectives.
  • Supporting and participating in shaping the product vision and roadmap.
  • Understanding the product thoroughly, including data usage and customer interactions.
  • Possessing an in-depth knowledge of data within the product.
  • Managing the product backlog, focusing on epics and user stories.
  • Assessing and ranking backlog items based on their potential value to the product.
  • Providing Transparency into Sprint Value
  • Organizing and executing iteration planning sessions.
  • Defining and accepting stories based on the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Showcasing and ensuring the measurable value of the product to customers.
  • Managing the process and reporting: communicating progress and ensuring clear process and reporting metrics.
  • Completing sprint reviews and reports, providing insights into burndown and value delivered.
  • Monitoring Delivery and Value Metrics: tracking and reporting on delivery metrics and value metrics to ensure ongoing product success.
