We are seeking a Product Owner for our B2B Customer HUB. You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and development of the portal, as well as its implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement. This is a critical role that requires a high level of independence and initiative, as you will primarily be managing external consultants and integration partners rather than internal development teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer support, marketing, and cloud providers, to ensure the HUB meets the needs of our customers while aligning with our business goals. Your ultimate aim is to ensure a seamless customer experience, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue and business development through the effective use of the portal.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a customer-facing digital product environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of web technologies, UX/UI principles, and Agile methodologies. Experience with digital platforms, e-commerce, or customer portals is a plus.
- Independence and Initiative: Proven ability to work independently, manage external partners and consultants, and drive product success with minimal supervision.
- Leadership: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making. Innovative and capable of driving continuous improvement.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making. Experience with analytics tools and techniques. Structured and solution-oriented.
- Customer-Centric and Commercial Mindset: Deep empathy for customers and a passion for creating user-friendly, high-quality, and valuable digital experiences. Knowledge of B2B relationships, CRM, sales, and marketing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the customer portal, ensuring alignment with company objectives and evolving customer needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery, while effectively managing relationships with external consultants and integration partners.
- Customer Focus: Act as the voice of the customer at Appear by deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and preferences through research, feedback, and data analysis.
- Product Roadmap: Develop, maintain, and communicate a detailed product roadmap that outlines short-term and long-term goals, ensuring timely delivery of key features. This includes creating and managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and working with external partners to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Solution Architect: Oversee the integration of various solutions provided by external technology providers, managing consultants, overall system architecture, and data exchange models, with a strong focus on collaboration and efficient delivery.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the portal, driving continuous improvement and the addition of new features and functionality.
- Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, B2B e-commerce and portal solutions, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure our portal remains innovative and at the forefront of the market.
