JOB DESCRIPTION

Join Danfoss as a Sr. Product Owner in our Data, Analytics, and Incubation team within Global Digital & IT. Play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our BI data and business analytics organizational products for sales, sales operations, customer service, digital customer experience, pricing, and One CRM business management groups.
As a Product Owner, you will bring your expertise to enhance our reporting, drive efficiency, and facilitate collaboration with diverse teams and senior management across all of Danfoss.

Looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to:

  • Five plus years of experience working as product owner or similar role with a preference towards degrees in business administration, sales, marketing, operations management, economics, or similar.
  • Furthermore, you need:
  • Excellent collaboration skills in a global organization with personal, professional, and cultural diversity.
  • Proven ability to build a unified product strategy based on facilitating stakeholder collaboration, gaining business trust, and securing buy-in from senior leaders across the organization.
  • Proactive drive to interact with stakeholders as advisor and sparring partner to influence decisions and to ensure governance and aligned prioritizations.
  • Strong experience in user experience reporting design and ingrained understanding of what a good experience feels like.
  • Understanding of Agile principles, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, SAP reporting, and Microsoft reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills, including conflict management, emotional intelligence, and change management techniques, that fosters a positive culture of continuous improvement.
  • Can do attitude that anticipates customer centric solutions, seeks to understand, and demonstrates frontline passion for our customer needs.
  • Extensive business knowledge, with a preference towards data analytics in the commercial operation management areas.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Product Owner is to maximize the value of the product. This involves close alignment with stakeholders, defining and prioritizing the backlog, streamlining the execution of priorities, and ensuring the conceptual integrity and adoption of the product.
  • Collaborate and confirm clear communication with stakeholders, including business teams, development teams and support functions to define, drive, and align the strategic roadmap for Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Digital Customer Experience, Pricing, and One CRM with organizational goals.
  • Build and communicate product vision, progress, and priorities to stakeholders and the IT Teams using digital tools provided by operational team and communication support groups.
  • Understand business needs, pain points, and processes in business management reporting development to ensure the usability, effectiveness, and alignment with end-user expectations.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value for the organization with guidance by business leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and communications colleagues to develop onboarding tools, guidelines, and policies around tool utilization.
  • Ensure continuous product delivery and timely support.
  • Foster cultural of collaboration and open feedback with business while offering professional advice on reporting tools and methodologies that focus on documented business needs.
  • Develop and maintain high quality in BI logics and principles, focus on standardized and scalable output and be able to translate this knowledge to relevant stakeholders in understandable way.
